Annoying coworker organizes outdoor "team building" activity on a Saturday to impress management, event falls apart: 'It poured all day'

Megan may have wanted to impress her bosses, but she made enemies out of her coworkers along the way.

Everyone has had a coworker like Megan. You know who I'm talking about. The kind of person who seems to go out of their way to make herself look great to management, but in actuality is no better than anyone else? 

Megan decided that a great way to prove how committed she was to the company was to take on the duties of organizing a team-building event for everyone. However, not only did she assume total control of the planning, but she also scheduled this unpaid, mandatory activity on a Saturday. 

So instead of maintaining a healthy divide between everyone's professional and recreational lives, now everyone on the team was required to give up half of their weekend to pretend to enjoy each other's company for no money at all. All of this, of course, doesn't benefit any actual team bonding. At the end of the day, it was all just an avenue for Megan to earn brownie points from management.
